Assassin's Creed 2

so i just started AC2, and i'm hating the money system. AC 1 was perfectly fine without it, and it just doesn't feel right. the game also starts abruptly, without much setup and minimal backstory. i'm just a few hours in, so my opinion might change, but so far.....meh.

and i got accepted into the xbox live ambassador program. w00t!!

Assassin’s Creed II still holds up as one of those sequels that really defined what an open-world historical action game could be. The Renaissance Italy setting, the character of Ezio, and the blend of stealth, parkour, and narrative progression made it a milestone for the genre, and it’s interesting how often it’s still discussed years later as a reference point for modern AC titles.

On a completely different note related to gaming services and progression systems, I’ve seen players mention wowvendor — especially in the context of wow carry and boost services for World of Warcraft, where people look for faster ways to experience endgame content and raids without the long grind.

Holy Fucking SHIT!!!!!!!

ahem..... Since the last few posts, this blog has gotten swamped, and i fucking LOVE it!!!!!! just today, as of 1a.m., this blog's gotten over 65,000 hits!!!!! you fuckers might as well download the new podcast, and subscribe though itunes!!!! anyways, for anyone who is STILL not satisfied with the quality of the pics: too bad. i don't have anything better to post with, and if you really want to read the whole article, buy the mag. it should be in stores next week, suckers!!!!!! wow. i wonder what would have happened if i had posted the new halo:orion screenshots. [Update] The halo:orion stuff is real. it's in the rumor section, and the mag says that it's supposed to be a Stratagy MMO, and there is another game also in development called Halo: forerunner. i'll post a pic and a new podcast later today.
