take a look at a badass tech demo that rumor says will make it into Crysis 2, coming to consoles sometime this decade. i've always wanted to destroy stuff on this scale since the first Red Faction .

Assassin's Creed 2
so i just started AC2, and i'm hating the money system. AC 1 was perfectly fine without it, and it just doesn't feel right. the game also starts abruptly, without much setup and minimal backstory. i'm just a few hours in, so my opinion might change, but so far.....meh. and i got accepted into the xbox live ambassador program. w00t!!

so this blog's gone all to hell, totally ignored in 09. i bet i've had less than 50 posts this year, and considering it took me 3 years to get to 1000 posts, that's fracking sad. anyways, let me drop a load off here, and give you a rundown of the year's best games. 11.Xmen Origins: Wolverine, Xbox 360 10.Battlefield 1943, XBLA 9.Killzone 2, Playstation 3 8.GTA Chinatown Wars, DSi 7.Halo 3 ODST, Xbox 360 6.Scribblenauts, DSi 5.Resident Evil 5, Xbox 360 4.New Super Mario Bros Wii Edition, Wii 3.Shadow Complex, XBLA 2.Trials HD, XBLA 1.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Xbox 360 yeah, i know Uncharted 2 isn't there, as well as Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Left 4 Dead 2, DJ Hero, Wii Sports Resort, Trine, any and all PC games and a assload more that i'll probably never get to. Batman, Uncharted 2 and Assassin's Creed i might get to, but dont' hold your breath. in other news, i bought a house, i have a stepson and my wife is pregnan...

i remember playing Joe Montana Football back in 1992 and throwing a interception. after the catch, the intercepting player was tackled. my cousin was playing against me, and it was his system, so naturally he wanted to gloat, so he paused the game and selected the new-fangled "instant replay" option. this was the first game that i can remember that had this option, so it was a new thing back then. well. when the replay started, everything progressed just as it had in the real game. but after the interception, instead of being tackled like he was just seconds earlier, the intercepting player broke 2 tackles and ran the ball back for a TOUCHDOWN!!!! i was like WHAT THE FUUUUUUUCK and screamed bloody murder. when the replay was over, both teams were lined up for the extra point. i could NOT believe it.
