Gears of War commercial

it's not totally jarring to hear such a sad, melencholy song in a commercial for such a hardcore, ultraviolent game like Gears of War, but sometimes opposites attract.......the more i hear it, the more i like it......the song is from the donny darko soundtrack......and it's directed (as much as you can direct a machinema commercial) by Mr. Fight Club, David Fincher......

Cool advert. Though I'm sick of that song. It went #1 here in the UK @ Christmas a couple of years ago and I could not get away from the damn song!

just a little update to the Gears of War trailer story. That sure is a very nice trailer and especially so, if you see the high quality or HD versions that are available.

However, this trailer WAS NOT directed by DAVID FINCHER. I am a big fan of his work and from his blog I know, that the real director of the commercial was a guy named Joseph Kosinski.

Holy Fucking SHIT!!!!!!!

ahem..... Since the last few posts, this blog has gotten swamped, and i fucking LOVE it!!!!!! just today, as of 1a.m., this blog's gotten over 65,000 hits!!!!! you fuckers might as well download the new podcast, and subscribe though itunes!!!! anyways, for anyone who is STILL not satisfied with the quality of the pics: too bad. i don't have anything better to post with, and if you really want to read the whole article, buy the mag. it should be in stores next week, suckers!!!!!! wow. i wonder what would have happened if i had posted the new halo:orion screenshots. [Update] The halo:orion stuff is real. it's in the rumor section, and the mag says that it's supposed to be a Stratagy MMO, and there is another game also in development called Halo: forerunner. i'll post a pic and a new podcast later today.
