Got my Wii!!!!!


Yeah, i know it's not the most PC thing to title this post, but after waiting in line, i finally preordered my Wii and Zelda: Twilight Princess. The Gamestop i was at only had 5 available preorders, which is really weird, since Nintendo recently doubled their launch quantities from 2 million to 4 million. anyways, i got mine and best of all, i spent only $50 cuz i traded in a crap load of games and DVDs!!!!!

Tonight is the big night, and I'll post some early impressions of the Wii party as soon as i can.

I almost forgot, there was some shyster guy who got really pissed when he was told he wouldn't get a preorder. he tried to insist that he was the 3rd one who got there, but since he wasn't in line, he was shit out of luck. too bad, so sad.......

Me too, i was the last one to order a Wii. Sleeping in till 8:30 payed off!

I got mine! :D I was at a GS in the south 'burbs. They said they had around half dozen to dozen but wouldnt tell us an exact number becasue "we weren't given an exact number." They opened late and let us in at 10:05. Still after telling us there would be enough for us but not giving an exact number they split the line into two without perserving order. This put me from second to third. Due to a technical error in the other line i didn get mine second. anyone who walked in after the doors opened (not including the 10 waiters)were turned away. So they were sure how many they had but stopped at 10. i called them when i got home and asked how many units they had, and he replied 12. so they kept two.

Why is it GameStop and EB are taking stupid amounts of pre orders for the Wii?

I know they don't want a repeat of what happened with the Xbox 360 - but taking 8 to 15 orders is crazy! *lol*

Holy Fucking SHIT!!!!!!!

ahem..... Since the last few posts, this blog has gotten swamped, and i fucking LOVE it!!!!!! just today, as of 1a.m., this blog's gotten over 65,000 hits!!!!! you fuckers might as well download the new podcast, and subscribe though itunes!!!! anyways, for anyone who is STILL not satisfied with the quality of the pics: too bad. i don't have anything better to post with, and if you really want to read the whole article, buy the mag. it should be in stores next week, suckers!!!!!! wow. i wonder what would have happened if i had posted the new halo:orion screenshots. [Update] The halo:orion stuff is real. it's in the rumor section, and the mag says that it's supposed to be a Stratagy MMO, and there is another game also in development called Halo: forerunner. i'll post a pic and a new podcast later today.
