A Distant Thunder


I'm hearing rumblings from the intertubes, whispers and buzz growing louder and louder.It seems like more than a few sites have been speculating on the reason for Xbox Live's downtime today. Could this point to the imminent release of the Halo 3 beta????

Boy, i sure hope so, but i'm not counting on it. It would be a great way to relieve the XBL network of the millions (and MILLIONS) of halo freaks who would download the beta as soon as it popped up.

on a side note, i've been watching this story closely all evening, and I've just got to say that Microsoft has probably the best community "face" of the big 3 (Sony, MS and Nintendo). Major Nelson has been updating his blog and something called Twitter, giving the Live fans updates constantly and keeping the info lines open. when you have a question about the Xbox 360 or XBL, it's nice to know there's someone listening.

Holy Fucking SHIT!!!!!!!

ahem..... Since the last few posts, this blog has gotten swamped, and i fucking LOVE it!!!!!! just today, as of 1a.m., this blog's gotten over 65,000 hits!!!!! you fuckers might as well download the new podcast, and subscribe though itunes!!!! anyways, for anyone who is STILL not satisfied with the quality of the pics: too bad. i don't have anything better to post with, and if you really want to read the whole article, buy the mag. it should be in stores next week, suckers!!!!!! wow. i wonder what would have happened if i had posted the new halo:orion screenshots. [Update] The halo:orion stuff is real. it's in the rumor section, and the mag says that it's supposed to be a Stratagy MMO, and there is another game also in development called Halo: forerunner. i'll post a pic and a new podcast later today.
